Roswell River Walk Trail
Situation
The riverside walkway stretching nearly ¾ of a mile along the banks of the Chattahoochee River required creative solutions for the challenging conditions presented by installing a support system in the riverbed, as well as extra safety precautions for workers.
Working with Integrated Construction and Nobility, Cantsink used a 27-foot boom affixed to its skid steer to reach out into the river for installation. The unique circumstances the riverbed posed for installing our helical piles also required that Cantsink welders from the manufacturing plant come to the site for highly specialized aspects of burning the top plate holes.
The unique difficulty of this project also required extra effort to ensure the safety of workers on the site. These precautions were meticulously applied for a safe AND successful installation process.

Maneuvering through water and current in boats and waders, Cantsink experts applied their unique skills and creative solutions to install the needed stability that will make the Riverwalk Trail a popular Roswell destination from now on.
Despite the difficult conditions of working in the river, Cantsink kept the walkway stabilization installation moving forward, completing it in just 60 days while assuring the safety of all workers on the site.
